I’m excited to announce that the ICfL’s new Development Services Program Supervisor is Talela Florko! Talela joined the ICfL in early 2022 as our Grants/Contracts Officer and has done amazing work administering the ICfL’s grant programs. During calendar year 2023 alone, she worked with our fantastic Library Consultants and oversaw over $4 million in subgrants across 14 grant programs with a total of 335 awards. In her new role, Talela will leverage the leadership and supervisory skills she developed operating her own small business for over 7 years prior to joining the ICfL. Talela as the Development Services Program Supervisor replaces Amelia Valasek as the Partnerships & Programs Supervisor, who left the ICfL in late May for an extended work sabbatical.
