“Whew! The temperatures are dropping, the smoke is clearing (I hope!), Summer Reading programs have come to a close and those lively children are back in school. Yup, across Idaho the fall season is just around the corner and librarians are asking each other and themselves, “Now what?” Well, there’s lots of “now what” ideas in this issue of the Scoop: new Kindergarten Ready section, the School Zone is back, lots of upcoming events and newly opened programs/grants, a feature on public-school library outreach, and so much more! If you can’t read it all now, print out a copy of the newsletter right away and leave it somewhere visible on your desk where you’ll be reminded to pick it back up when you do find some time.”
