The Scoop - July, 2021

It’s a sure sign of summer if the chair gets up when you do.” - Walter Winchell. I think chairs everywhere in Idaho are telling us it is SUMMER! And yet, summer heat nor sticky chairs will prevent us from learning something new or getting excited about the upcoming library opportunities shared in this issue of The Scoop. Come explore digital connectivity with our new Wi-Fi Map, learn (for free!) with other out-of-school providers at the Power Up Summit, dive into that new community partnership to bring Laundromat Literacy to your area, or get pumped for several early learning/Kindergarten readiness opportunities: Baby’s Busy Day books by Act Early Idaho, Foundations of Early Literacy course (again, free!) with Library Juice, Bright by Text by Idaho Public Television, and a fresh round of ICfL’s Kindergarten Readiness Grants. And don’t forget…Keep Calm and Drink More Water!
